Playing Supermom

Homemade bread.
Blueberry apple flax muffins for breakfast.
Laundry room organized in bins.
Dinner done and dishes washed.
Played Legos with boys.
Took three said boys to Target with no meltdowns.
Snuggled them each separately this afternoon.
Played mommy monster.
Folded 3 loads of laundry.
Sold and delivered my old double stroller.
Took a real (more than 5 minutes) shower.

I feel like super mom today. I rarely ever get this much done in one day- ever. I am normally happy to have gotten one of those things done in one day. Literally. I don't know how this happened. I name that extra cup of coffee and lots of disorganization as the culprit. I'm sure tomorrow I will be too tired to do any chores at all then pay for the next week. Either way- the only real joy I had today, the only time I truly felt like a substantial, whole hearted mom was when I was playing tickle monster with Ethan and he belly laughed and asked for more. And when I was snuggling Levi at bedtime and he asked to snuggle for one more minute cheek to cheek. And when Jude and I were singing a song together and caught each others eye and smiled. Those are the real, measurable moments. For those few moments in the day, we are supermom.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Peter 4:8
